Rich Hurst has been the VP of Human Resources for Tempered Networks since October 2015. He has worked in Human Resources for seventeen years and most recently as a consultant to the FAA, Chickasaw Nation and Scott Long Construction. Rich has served as a board member or consultant to businesses and non-profits in the fields of healthcare, relief and development, food service, education, publishing, and telecom, with a client list that includes the U.S. Air Force, AOL, Health South, Cook Publishing International. Hurst has deep and diverse experience as an executive coach in the public, private and government sectors, and has developed mentoring programs for small to large companies in order to build a pipeline for strong leadership. He also helped architect and implement creative tools for 3-year employee development programs that continue to deliver lasting results.

He is a published author on the subject matter of Leadership and Organizational Design. Until recently, Hurst was Chairman of the Board for DayBreak Kids (http://daybreakkids.org) in Washington DC.  Hurst is a graduate of Mesa College and holds a Masters from Fuller Graduate School.
